Diagnostic Examinations
A student admitted into a graduate program may be required by the Graduate Committee to take diagnostic tests for the purpose of assessing his/her academic preparation.
The diagnostic exams will cover the five main chemistry fields: Biochemistry, Analytical, Inorganic, Organic, and Physical Chemistry. A student who does not perform satisfactorily in one or more of these exams will be required to complete appropriate undergraduate remedial courses without graduate credit.
